Overview
I am a Klarman Fellow in the Department of Government at Cornell University. Prior to Cornell, I completed my PhD in Political Science at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, with a focus on American Politics and Methods.
Research Focus
My research interests are in political psychology, political communication, public opinion, and measurement. My current work focuses on how emotional cues in news media have changed over time and how these cues impact the American electorate, particularly regarding democratic attitudes and the acceptance of political violence.
