April 25 event celebrates class of 2024

The Arts & Sciences Career Development Office will celebrate the Class of 2024 during its second senior celebration, April 25, from noon-3 p.m. in their office, Goldwin Smith Hall 172.

“For the senior celebration, we want to recognize our seniors and celebrate their next steps into their professional careers,” said Jen Maclaughlin, director of A&S Career Development. The celebration event is separate from Senior Week activities at Cornell, which are held in May.

The Arts & Sciences Career Development office helps students find employment and graduate school opportunities. Their extensive offerings for students includes interview preparation, resume review and graduate school application advising. This office also provides regular alumni meetups for students in a variety of fields, including law, journalism, medicine, and business, and these are held both online and in-person.

Career counselors will be at the senior celebration, so students will have the opportunity to chat with counselors about post-graduation plans. Outside of this event, students either schedule an appointment with a career advisor or go to walk-in hours at a set time..

The festivities will include free food, a photo booth and a raffle for Cornell Store gift cards.
