Benjamin Feldman ’22, has been named a Junior Fellow by the James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (CEIP). A College Scholar who studies diplomacy through a unique curriculum, Ben will conduct research at the Endowment in D.C. after graduation this May. Usually 15-18 junior fellows are selected annually to work alongside senior fellows at the Endowment.
Feldman has interned at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations and at the National Academy of Public Administration. On campus he has worked as a research assistant to Sarah Kreps, the John L. Wetherill Professor of Government, and served as captain of the Speech Team.
He is currently the president of the Cornell Speech and Debate Society and chair of the Reimagine Task Force of Cornell Empathy Assistance and Referral Services (EARS). His long-term plans include a career in international development and work in the Department of State. The last Cornellian to become a Junior Fellow was A&S alumnus Samuel Barnett '19.
